b.The Ombudsman looks into complaints
- made by members of the public;
- when he is invited to do so by any Minister or other member of the Assembly; or
- if he considers it desirable to do so of his own initiative.
With the passing of the Constitution (Amendment) Act 2003, the Ombudsman will be empowered to investigate also into complaints against Local Authorities.
